Designing learning materials to improve language skills
I wanted to create something visually engaging and each activity builds upon the previous one and allows plenty of opportunities to practise productive skills that are useful and practical.
This lesson material provides learners with the confidence to socialise and interact with others to help alleviate any anxiety they may have that prevents them from communicating independently in the real life situations.
The sample pages focus on speaking skills and reading for gist and reading for detail and includes a range of activities designed to practice key language in the unit.
These have been designed using Microsoft publisher and all photographs of Newcastle city centre landmarks and buildings have been taken by me.
