Introducing accessibility to a mobile product team
I delivered a bespoke online accessibility training to a mobile product team at a pharmaceutical company, to enable the team to design accessible mobile products for their clients. My one day workshop covered web accessibility and the importance of being compliant with web content accessibility guidelines or WCAG 2.2.
My interactive workshop was specifically designed for this product team and I covered the following topics:
Overview of disabilities.
Accessibility basics and impairments.
Importance of accessible services and products.
What is web compliant.
Myths and misconceptions.
Good verses bad accessibility.
A range of interactive activities and tasks enabled participants to explore and understand how to make their mobile products accessible.
